Tianjin Medical Electronic Instrument Corporation (TMEIC) is a key manufacturer of the national medical equipment industry. It has a history of more than 40 years to develop and produce medical imaging equipment. TMEIC starts to produce Ultrasound Scanner from 1985 and is one of the earliest enterprises specialized in the production of Ultrasound Scanner. In 2001, it has received both ISO9001/ISO13485 Quality System Certification and product quality certification. Its products are all up to the standards in the check and spot-check organized by the National Product Quality Testing Organization.

The main products of TMEIC are Ultrasound Diagnostic Equipment with the registered brand of "Baita". The existing products are SC-100, SC-100B, SC-200, SC-400 Portable Ultrasound Scanner, SC-560, SC-600 Movable Ultrasound Scanner. SC Series Ultrasound Scanners are products that imported the advanced technology from Pie Medical Equipment B.V. of the Netherlands by OEM mode and produced domestically. They enjoy good reputations all over the country and have awarded many prizes. In 1990, SC-400 Ultrasound Scanner has won the bid in international tender held by the World Bank and attended by United States, Japan and other European countries. At present, the SC Series Ultrasound Scanners have been exported to more the 10 countries and areas.

For the further development and strengthening of the enterprise, TMEIC has speeded up the course of importing advanced technology and developing new products and high technology. It imported the latest color system Scanner 350 Color Doppler System and 260 Corvus B/W Scanner.
